About

Born from the unity of the Fossat brothers, Jean and Remí, and the talented Canek Flores, SLIFT came together in 2016 and has since left an indelible mark on the rock scene. Their journey started with their 2017 debut EP, “Space Is the Key“, blending the might of stoner rock with the energetic vibes of garage rock. Their innovation did not stop there. They explored faster beats, and even incorporated bongos into their 2018 full-length “La Planeté Inexploreé”. SLIFT‘s breakthrough moment was undeniably their KEXP session at the Trans Musicales festival in Rennes, which garnered a staggering 1.4 million YouTube views.
Their 2020 offering, UMMON, was a testament to their evolution towards psych-metal, but their latest single release, ILION, is where the band truly astounds. Echoes of renowned bands like Godspeed! You Black Emperor, Led Zeppelin, and Goat can be faintly heard, but SLIFT‘s uniqueness is unmistakable. “ILION” is more than an album. It’s a melodious narrative, taking listeners through tracks that depict the rise, fall, and rebirth of humanity, inspired by the ancient city of Troy.

SUPPORT : KARKARA

A deluge of uninterrupted psychedelism both trippy and hypnotic that transports you to a post-apocalyptic setting on the verge of implosion. Screaming amps, supercharged drums and voices mixing both sweet melancholy and desperate rage.
On stage, KARKARA manages to transcribe a hypnotic fury and reveals to the public a sound, an identity and an energy that grabs you by the guts instantly.
“Wah Wah” lovers, repetitive “boom boom kraut” enveloped in exotic sounds from the other side of the Mediterranean, it is travel and trance which are at the center of the project.
