Rockhal

Rock Against Cancer is a charity concert initiated in 2013. All profits from the concert are fully donated to two Luxembourg charities fighting against cancer: the Fondation Cancer and the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner.

In ten years, we have achieved to raise more than 208,000€ , allowing the creation of infrastructure especially for sick children. Let’s make it even bigger for 2023!

In 2023, Rock Against Cancer will celebrate its 10^th anniversary. For this special edition, we are thinking big!

On 09 June 2023, the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette will be rocked by Hooverphonic, Mister Cover and DJ Pops.

HOOVERPHONIC

Hooverphonic’s iconic line-up is back.

We no longer present a band like Hooverphonic. In 1996, “A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular” launched the band on the Belgian music scene and paved the way for an international breakthrough.

In 2000 Hooverphonic had his international success with the album “The Magnificent Tree” on which appears the essential title “Mad about you”. Exactly 20 years after the release of this album the band announces its reunion: Geike Arnaert is back. With her the band broke through and her iconic voice made many people lifelong fans. The Magnificent Three, a very apt nickname given to them by their Japanese label, are back.

To see Hooverphonic in concert is an experience like no other. An unmissable event.

MISTER COVER

Since 2002, Mister Cover, the Belgian group specialised in covers, has never ceased to enchant a growing audience with its energetic and festive concerts.

Mister Cover offers a journey into the world of rock, soul, French chanson and pop, from the 1950s to the present day. The band covers the greatest hits of legendary artists and formations such as the Beatles, U2, Police, Katy Perry, the Blues Brothers, Lenny Kravitz, the Rolling Stones, CloClo, Rihanna, Daft Punk, Queen, the White Stripes, Telephone, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, Ray Charles, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Coldplay, Madonna… In short, there is something for everyone, for all ages and for each generation.

In just a few years, Mister Cover has become a major reference among Belgian cover bands by federating and bringing together all generations.
