The Escape the Internet Tour unites four of the world’s most innovative string players — Austrian guitarist Bernth, English fingerstyle pioneer Mike Dawes, bassist Charles Berthoud, and Swedish metal guitarist Ola Englund. Spanning metal, acoustic, and cinematic instrumental music, the tour brings together artists who have built millions-strong global audiences online and now bring that energy to stages worldwide.

Bernth is an Austrian guitarist, composer, session musician, and content creator whose playing spans metal to cinematic soundtrack work. He has contributed guitar solos to four platinum-certified albums and earned two gold awards for his soundtrack compositions. A graduate with honors from the Vienna Music Institute, Bernth began his professional career touring extensively across Europe, the USA, Canada, and Latin America with Austrian extreme metal band Belphegor.

Mike Dawes is an English guitarist known for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on a single acoustic guitar, performing basslines, melodies, percussion, and harmonies simultaneously. Widely regarded as one of the most innovative modern fingerstyle players, his work spans viral solo arrangements, original compositions, and mainstream billboard chart success with a variety of artists. 

World-renowned bassist Charles Berthoud is redefining what’s possible on the bass guitar. Fusing virtuosic techniques with melodic sensitivity and compositional flair, his playing blurs the line between rhythm and lead instrument. This distinctive, genre-spanning approach, drawing from rock, jazz and classical influences, has captivated a global audience of over 3 million followers on social media. That reach has translated into international tours and performances across Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Australia, as well as a range of signature basses with Schecter. 

Ola Englund is a Swedish guitarist, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur, and one of the most influential voices in modern metal guitar. He is best known as the lead guitarist of The Haunted, founder of Feared, and a former member of Six Feet Under. Englund’s career has also reached new heights in recent years. He has been nominated for a Grammy, featured as a guitarist on a recent album by Accept, and was notably included on a shortlist of potential guitarists for the Pantera reunion, highlighting his reputation among the elite in the metal world. With a unique blend of musicianship, entrepreneurship, and digital influence, Ola Englund continues to shape the sound and culture of modern metal worldwide.
