Known for their lightning-fast guitar solos, soaring melodies and explosive live shows, DragonForce have been pushing the limits of power metal for more than two decades. Formed in 1999, the Grammy-nominated band became a worldwide phenomenon with their platinum-selling anthem “Through the Fire and Flames”, a track that reached a whole new generation through Guitar Hero III.

Now, DragonForce are entering a new chapter with Alissa White-Gluz, formerly of Arch Enemy, as their new lead vocalist and first-ever frontwoman. After first joining forces with the band on a new version of “Burning Heart” in 2025, Alissa officially became a member of DragonForce in May 2026, bringing her signature mix of powerful growls and melodic vocals to the band’s high-speed sound.

Since then, the band have debuted their new line-up on stage, celebrated the 20th anniversary of their landmark album Inhuman Rampage, and opened the door to a whole new era of DragonForce. Their tenth studio album — and first self-titled record — DragonForce arrives on March 19, 2027, featuring Alissa alongside vocalist Alessio Garavello in a new dual-vocal format. The first taste, “Hunger of the Beast,” combines the speed and energy DragonForce are known for with a heavier new vocal dynamic.
