About

Few guitarists manage to marry technical brilliance with such genuine emotional depth, ANDY TIMMONS is one of them. First emerging as the blazing lead guitarist of glam metal band DANGER DANGER, he made his mark on stages worldwide, touring alongside rock giants like KISS and ALICE COOPER. His explosive solos and melodic sensibility quickly earned him a loyal following and critical acclaim.

But Timmons is far more than a product of the hard rock era. Over the years, he has forged a remarkably eclectic career, collaborating with an impressive and diverse range of artists including OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN, SIMON PHILLIPS, PAULA ABDUL, and PAUL STANLEY of KISS. Each collaboration showcases a different facet of his playing, whether it’s pop, jazz fusion, progressive rock, or cinematic instrumental textures.

As a solo artist and with the ANDY TIMMONS BAND, he has cultivated a deeply expressive musical language that blends melodic rock, blues, jazz fusion, and instrumental pop. One of the most celebrated milestones of his career is Plays Sgt. Pepper, a lush, guitar-driven tribute to THE BEATLES that reimagines the legendary album with both reverence and innovation. It’s a masterclass in interpretation and tone.

Timmons’ 2022 release, Electric Truth, recorded with longtime collaborator and producer Josh Smith, was voted the 6th best guitar album of the year by Guitar World readers. With its soulful grooves and lyrical phrasing, the album was praised for striking a rare balance between technical mastery and emotional resonance, a hallmark of Timmons’ work.

In 2025, he followed up with Recovery, a deeply personal and introspective album that reflects on healing and resilience. From ambient guitar layers to driving rock motifs, the album explores a wide sonic landscape. Notably, it includes a track inspired by TOM PETTY, as well as a subtle and heartfelt rendition of the LENNON/MCCARTNEY rarity “I’m In Love,” recorded at Abbey Road Studios, a full-circle moment for an artist so heavily influenced by THE BEATLES.

Whether he’s bending a single note into a cry of emotion or navigating intricate harmonic passages, ANDY TIMMONS plays with rare authenticity. His music transcends genre and generation, an ever-evolving journey driven by curiosity, passion, and an unmistakable voice on the guitar.
