With a sound that tastes like sweet marcypan and echoes the eerie charm of the backwoods, Luxembourgish alternative-pop artist marcy crafts bold and catchy snapshots of a society in discomfort.

In her second EP ‘backwoods’ marcy turns everyday struggles into melodic statements, calling out social nonsense, inner chaos, and modern-day burnout. Wrapped in a blend of contemporary pop and gritty rock elements, her upcoming ‘backwoods’ is both a soundtrack and a subtle rebellion against the quiet violence of modern life.

It’s music for the ones who don’t fit neatly into society’s boxes, genres, or expectations, and those who never stop exploring who they are. marcy gives shape to the in-between – where nothing fits quite right, except the music.

Following shows at United Islands of Prague, Culture Forest Festival, Koll an Aktioun, and a support slot for Livingston, she now brings her sharpest work yet to the stage. From studios in Luxembourg and Stockholm, marcy is ready to let loose what’s been simmering beneath the surface.
