About
Since his debut album “Transsiberian” (2015), THYLACINE has developed a taste for composing through travel, each album that followed was always synonymous with encounters and discoveries. His aim is to combine music and image and to aide us in the discovery and navigate his world through his sonic voyage.
As an explorator of electronic sounds, he recorded several albums in some very uncanny places, aboard the Transsiberian for “Transsiberian” or in the Argentinian countryside for “ROADS vol.1” (2019) and in the middle of the Faroe Islands for “ROADS vol.2” (2021). He is now back with a “ROADS vol.3”.
For this new album THYLACINE has chosen to follow once again his creative journey. True to his now-iconic mode of travel, a blazing 1972 Airstream caravan converted into a mobile studio, THYLACINE composed this new album by gaving himself the most precious resource of all: time. Time that’s so often missing when caught in the grind of touring and routine. Time that allows travel to become a real experience, where intuition can evolve into something bolder, deeper, more original.
He also released other albums such as “Timeless” (2020) or “and 74 muscians” (2024). With “Timeless”, he offers a stunning and modern reinterpretation of major classical masterpieces (from Beethoven to Satie, including Mozart or even Fauré). “and 74 musicians” is a symphonic album, live recorded accompanied by an orchestra and a choir.
His latest success allowed the young electro prodigy to make a name for himself on the electronic scene after numerous sold-out performances across the most prestigious venues and festivals in France, and abroad.
On stage he is an intoxicating performer who improvises, and merges to become one with his unique musical excursion.
