Join us for two showcases by local indie rock acts Sun Smash Palace and Office of Weird. Get ready for sunny surf rock vibes and a heavy load of noise extravaganza!

Sun Smash Palace:

Sun Smash Palace are an indie surf band from Luxembourg. They provide the soundtrack for a day at the beach: bright, sunny songs with reverb-filled guitars for your next summer days. Sun Smash Palace were formed in 2019. In 2021, they released their self-titled debut album, which was followed by their latest EP “An Answer to a Question That I Didn’t Even Know I Had” in May 2022. Sun Smash Palace are a European band with members from Germany (Eric), France (Axel), Italy (Vita & Michele) and Luxembourg (Raoul).

Office of Weird:

Luxembourgish band Office of Weird started off in December 2019, just before the global health crisis. The power-trio consisting of Uno Holiday (Drums & Vocals), Mitch Fuse (Guitars), Migs Kinnie (Bass, Vocals), three castaways in a landlocked country, mashed together all their distinct life-long music consumptions in a real weird office space in the Steinsel industrial estate. Self-proclaimed creators of “Weird Rock”, the band is known for an unmatched energy and stage presence, with influences coming from post-punk, shoegaze/noise, punk rock, psychobilly, stoner rock, and a bit of prog-rock.

About Rocklab Live Sessions:

The Rocklab Live Sessions are filmed showcases by local bands & artists. Their aim is to promote and document the ever-growing number and diversity of artists from the local music scene, by offering them a stage, regardless of music genre, age and experience. A selection of songs from each showcase will be released digitally later on, to reach a larger audience and provide the artists with a quality live video.
