Plini is an independent solo artist from Sydney, Australia. He composes, plays guitar, records, produces and manages his unique kind of instrumental progressive rock, all from his own bedroom studio. His critically acclaimed debut album ‘Handmade Cities’ was voted #5 in Guitar World Magazine’s “20 best guitar albums of the decade,” and described by the one and only Steve Vai as “one of the most beautiful, progressive, melodic, rhythmic and harmonically deep, evolution of rock/metal instrumental guitar records I’ve ever heard.” In short, Vai says, “Plini is the future of guitar music.”

In recent years, Plini has toured with bands such as Animals as Leaders, TesseracT, Intervals and Periphery, with whom he also performed with at Rockhal in 2018.

The evening will be opened by progressive rock guitarist Jakub Zytecki and Jack Gardiner & Owane.
