NEXT DEED

Next Deed came to life in 2021, founded by Sue Scarano (guitar) and Lou Metz (drums), and quickly established themselves as a rising force in the alternative metal scene. The lineup later expanded with Kevin (guitar), Romain (bass) and Alain (vocals), completing the band’s powerful sound and artistic direction.

After releasing their debut EP New Beginnings in 2023, the band reached a new milestone in 2024 with the EP The Soldier – Act I, the first chapter in a planned five-part concept series. Early the following year, NEXT DEED suffered a devastating loss with the passing of their frontman Alain, whose voice and presence had shaped the band’s identity.

In tribute to him, NEXT DEED will unveil their new EP The Beloved – Act II on April 25 at the Rockhal, featuring guest singers for this special performance. The evening will be presented under the theme:

“An Evening of Sound and Memory with NEXT DEED and Friends – In Tribute to Alain.”

This release show marks both the continuation of the band’s creative journey and a heartfelt homage to a deeply missed friend and bandmate.

This show is part of Rocklab’s Release Package. Indeed, Rocklab offers local bands and artists the opportunity to use the Club of the Rockhal, the Rockhalcafe or the Floor as a venue for their release show.
