MARI FROES

Mari Froes is a Brazilian singer-songwriter whose music flows through the rich landscapes of MPB (Música Popular Brasileira), bossa nova, samba and jazz.

In 2019, Mari Froes released her first original singles, “Moça” and “Rosa e Laranja”, followed in 2020 by her debut EP Nebulosa, a five-track release that has since surpassed 20 million streams. In July 2024, she was invited by COLORS Studio to perform the Brazilian classic “Gabriela”.

That same year, a short video of Mari performing “Figa de Guiné”, the classic song popularised by Brazilian icon Alcione and written by Nei Lopes and Reginaldo Bessa, went viral on TikTok, reaching over 72 million views and leading to the official release of the song as a single in April 2025 via Sony Germany.

Mari Froes has also gained international attention through collaborations such as “Vaitimbora” with French duo TRINIX, a track that has now surpassed 90 million streams.

Rooted in Brazilian musical traditions, Mari Froes crafts intimate and finely textured songs that bridge MPB, bossa nova and contemporary songwriting, carried by a voice of striking delicacy and presence.
