Mari Froes is a Brazilian singer-songwriter whose music moves through various landscapes of MPB (Música Popular Brasileira), bossa nova, samba and jazz. Rolling Stone Brasil highlighted that she “(…) has been standing out for the unique voice and identity (…)”.
In 2019, Mari Froes released her first original singles, “Moça” and “Rosa e Laranja”, followed in 2020 by her debut EP “Nebulosa”, a five-track release that has since surpassed 20 million streams. Following with July 2024, she was invited by COLORS Studio to record a session of the Brazilian classic “Gabriela”. The same year, a short video of Mari singing “Figa de Guiné” by Nei Lopes and Reginaldo Bessa went viral on TikTok, reaching over 72 million views, leading to the official release of the song as a single in April 2025, distributed by Sony Germany. She has also appeared on international collaborations, including the remix of “Vaitimbora” by French duo Trinix.
With a fast-growing international audience and a sound that feels both timeless and contemporary, Mari Froes continues to connect deeply with listeners worldwide. In 2026, she will be touring around Europe, including the Primavera Sound Porto Festival and Monsantos Open Air, marking another key milestone in her evolving global journey.
