About
Philip Sayce is considered one of the most intense and electrifying blues-rock guitarists of our time. His music combines raw energy with deep soul, carrying a distinctive signature shaped by legends such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Eric Clapton.
He began performing in Toronto as a teenager and early on joined the band of Jeff Healey, with whom he toured worldwide for several years. Further milestones followed as a guitarist for artists such as Melissa Etheridge and Uncle Cracker.
Today, Sayce captivates international audiences as a solo artist—his explosive live performances are widely regarded as a truly special experience, earning him appearances at major events such as Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festival.
With his unmistakable tone and his legendary Stratocaster “Mother,” Philip Sayce brings an intensity to the stage that goes straight under your skin. Blending tradition with a modern sonic aesthetic, he has created a style that sets the benchmark for contemporary blues rock.
A new studio album is set to be released in spring 2026, and of course Philip Sayce will be presenting some of the new songs live on tour. One can look forward to seeing what else the “Guitar Wizard” has in store.
