Fischer-Z brings their 50th Anniversary Tour to Rockhal in Luxembourg after lightning-fast sell-out of Belgian shows

In 2026, the iconic British band Fischer-Z will celebrate its exactly 50th anniversary, an occasion marked by a special jubilee tour across Europe. Due to overwhelming success, their concerts in Belgium, on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at De Roma (Antwerp) and Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Ancienne Belgique (Brussels), have since completely sold out.

For those who were unable to secure tickets for the Belgian dates, there is good news: an extra show has been added to the tour at the Rockhal (Luxembourg).

Led by frontman John Watts, Fischer-Z grew in the late ’70s and early ’80s into a staple of the new wave and post-punk scene. With classics such as ‘The Worker’, ‘So Long’, ‘Marliese’, ‘Red Skies Over Paradise’, and ‘Room Service’, the band has managed to leave a lasting impression on multiple generations of music lovers.

During these jubilee shows, Fischer-Z will perform a best-of set, featuring songs from their rich and extensive discography, now spanning more than 20 albums, supplemented by new material.

In 2026 bestaat de iconische Britse band Fischer-Z exact 50 jaar, en dat wordt gevierd met een bijzondere jubileumtournee door Europa. Wegens het enorme succes zijn de twee exclusieve concerten in België, op zaterdag 2 mei 2026 in De Roma (Antwerpen) en op zondag 3 mei 2026 in Ancienne Belgique (Brussel)  inmiddels volledig uitverkocht.

Voor wie geen tickets kon bemachtigen voor de Belgische data, is er goed nieuws: er is een extra show aan de tournee toegevoegd in de Rockhal (Luxemburg).

Onder leiding van frontman John Watts groeide Fischer-Z eind jaren ’70 en begin jaren ’80 uit tot een vaste waarde in de new wave- en post-punkscene. Met klassiekers als ‘The Worker’, ‘So Long’, ‘Marliese’, ‘Red Skies Over Paradise’ en ‘Room Service’ wist de band een blijvende stempel te drukken op meerdere generaties muziekliefhebbers.
